Go on First Friday! There's always a great show specifically for First Friday with the artists in attendance. They also have at least one artist there at other times to answer any questions you have about the art.
I was warmly welcomed upon entering the Gallery by several of the artists and that put me at ease to wander and look at my own pace. The small building disguises the large variety of art I found both on the main floor and upstairs. I spent a long time looking at everything they offer for sale. I particularly liked the jewelry because they had 4 artists with very different styles and they all were above the quality I'd seen elsewhere. I was surprised by the prices. They were within my price range. I bought a small painting in their gift shop and a couple of greeting cards with one of the artist's photographs on them. That was my first visit. I liked the Gallery so much, I joined as a supporting member and I'm now involved in teaching classes there. My first visit convinced me it's a lovely place to spend a few hours.
