I live 30 minutes away and called ahead to see if the kids club was open. Many times I have been told incorrect times for opening and closing, so in this instance I made sure to call twice. Apparently there is a lack of common sense or communication. The gym is often dirty and the trainers are unprofessional. Don’t join this gym, you will be wasting money.
The gym is no frills, I get that and am fine with it but safety is a concern.... Just finished a Sat morning 10am workout there. Fire alarm went off for 30 minutes.MY EARS ARE STILL RINGING!!!! No staff announcement, nothing over the intercom nothing. Said it is the PARKER? security company's fault when I asked. But the reaction or lack thereof is solely on Fitness Connection. If it was a real fire-- not good. If I suffer any hearing damage coming out of this ...you'll hear from me for sure.
Been a member for 2 years... The ass Hosé that works at the font desk told me my membership was no longer valid and needed to upgrade... this is after they charged me double for 3 months and COULDNT give money back. The GM was awesome and fixed it with a card worth the money I was overcharged. But the fat f at the front doesn't care about that. His mom is power Hungary as well... she works in the kids club. They definitely ran me off for good, and I brought 5 new members in. Hopefully they will leave as well when I find a ew gym. They sure know how to hire ass holes to run off business.
I am canceling my membership because this organization along with it’s gyms is completely disorganized, and have no care for customer service.
I would have given 5 stars, but the music is always too loud, especially in the downstairs gym with the crossfit equipment. It's odd since just about everyone has earbuds and listens to their own music. I've asked about turning it down, but never gets adjusted.
I joined last week with Will and was able to get a friend and spouse to join as well. What I like is that they have classes in both the morning and evening hours, a kids room, indoor pool with sauna and hot tub, and love the movie room. The staff is always nice and willing to help. Todd was able to discuss their fitness coaches (not in my budget right now but helpful). The price is perfect as well. It starts at $9.99 and goes from there. My wife has a different one than I do due to the kids. Brent is very responsive in emails too. Give them a try. You can try for free and they walk you through the gym to discuss the different sections. Very thorough in the walk-through. Much better than the purple place for the money.
