It's a parking deck, and it serves its purpose. I don't know what more you would want to know.
It's a parking deck, there's not much to say. Additionally, the one time I've needed to got to the NCSU transportation center (it was regarding parking in this lot), the lady was quite nice and helped me get the issue resolved without any hassle.
Upon leaving after my class, I pressed the intercom button and politely explained what happened and that I was instructed to press the intercom button. The person on the intercom was incredibly rude saying things like he should just make me pay the $20 for a lost ticket. After a very aggravating conversation that was along the lines of me getting scolded while I sat in my car, he made me a ticket for the correct amount. To put the icing on the cake, he added "if you ever do this again, you're going to pay the $20." I would like to reiterate that I didn't do anything wrong and tried to fix any mistake that occurred ON THEIR PART because it was THEIR equipment that was broken.
I don't care what it takes to get to class anymore I will not give money to these people even one more time. Even if I have the plague and can't miss class I will walk the mile from my apartment or get a damn parking ticket somewhere else.
Expensive for yearly passes and expensive by the hour. Once pieces of the concrete beams fell on a friend's car and caused serious damage. The lighting needs to be improved as it can get quite dark at night in the stairwells and interior levels.
The new construction update in summer 2016 have made the deck safer and a spots more visible. Good central location for all University events
The deck changed their payment setup approximately in early spring 2016? It's absolutely horrific. It breaks almost every day. I have missed a dentist appointment (those are expensive to miss) among other engagements waiting in the line to get out of this deck because of the hour-long line that forms.
If you're visiting NC State or just a poor student or your overpriced parking pass has expired, don't park here. This is ridiculous. I've had it with these people.
Today I went to my summer class. The gate was open and the machine said "gate open, go ahead." Sometimes, parking is free or unenforced for events so I didn't think much of it. Once I parked, I noticed the gates to leave were closed, but the man that comes and tries to assist when the payment stuff is broken was out. I asked what I could do and he said I needed a ticket to get out. I explained that the gate was open and asked if I could just go get a ticket. He said I needed a vehicle to go through and get a ticket but I can press the intercom button and tell someone when I arrived and they can make me a ticket. I'm leaving out his slight rudeness as there is someone who made me even more upset.
