I really can't overstate how impressed I was with the owners, who have always been helpful and knowledgeable. The same goes for the sheer volume and variety of books. Loved this place and can't wait to go back in the weeks, months, and years to come.
We have lived in the triangle for just over a year and have gone to 7 or 8 local, used bookstores an have been disappointed until finding the Readers Corner. I visit a bookstore in every city I visit and never feel at home until I find that bookstore that I know I'll go to again and again. This is that store for me and my family. Excellent selection, especially for a used store, but quite well organized. The prices are sometimes unbelievably low. Even copies of newer books are less than $7 or $8.
The best bookstore I've ever been to! The staff is excellent and very helpful to every customer, they have a very wide range of reading material, among other things. I could spend all day in here and will definitely be back soon!
Great prices & selection. Awesome staff. They buy books during all open hours. Not a dollar-a-book store.
This is an incredible little store. Their selection, organization and prices are stellar compared to other used book stores I've been to. I try to make another trip here every few weeks to see what I might like. One of the most notable features of the store are their outdoor shelves. This part of the store is open 24/7 and books are purchased on the honor system but putting ¢10 or ¢25 through a slot in the door. When the store is open the staff are always friendly and helpful. There are also many trinkets, pictures and notes that were found in old books pinned to the shelves and walls. These give the place a goofy, fun atmosphere that is always enjoyable and every time I go i find a new one to chuckle at. I highly recommend this place for all book lovers.
A splendid used bookstore, with great service and a 24/7 section of books to peruse and purchase on the honor system. One of Raleigh's greatest treasures.
