Church is what you make of it with your own self investment. There is ample room here for anyone to pursue God at your own pace. May God guide you to the right church for you. Shalom.
Come as you are. Your appearance and your past will not be judged. Nobody here is perfect, and we know it.
"Helping People Connect with God" - that is the call, the mission at Lifepointe. The Durant Rd location is one of three but all have the same mission, the same goal. Doesn't matter what you wear, where you're from, or how messed up you may (think you) are, this is a place to learn about Jesus and what he's done for you. Great worship. Great music. Great people. Don't think of it as "church" but as a place to be.
I challenge you to come here 5 times in a row. That's the only way to really know if you want Lifepointe to be your church home. You will not regret it.
I can't say enough good things about this church and the staff. Perfect no matter where you are in your faith journey. Sermons are always anchored with scripture. The youth services are safe, engaging, and age appropriate.
I have attended LPC since 2008 and this church has been the arms and feet of Jesus in my life, through my good and my most desperate times. My faith has grown deeply amongst these people. Helping People Connect With God is the mission of this church and I am so happy to be a part of it. They talk about finding a "church home" here in the south...I have definitely found mine.
This church has been a tremendous blessing to my family and me. I have been a member since 2004. I love how we incorporate worship into nearly all gatherings.
Just moved to the area and was visiting. If I was just learning about being or how to be a Christian, this church missed the mark big time. First my family and I walk in and there's a store, it reminded me of when Jesus tore up that marketplace they had in the church, I should've turned around then. Next praise & worship was nice but I didn't feel like the praise and worship ushered in the presence of God. I mean really, praise and worship should set the atmosphere for God's presence. I'm assuming they had a special Sunday because there was a speaker on a projection screen and they talked about MONEY the ENTIRE TIME!! Ok so it's understandable to have a Sunday like that for your normal members, so I'm gonna give you that. After talking about money on screen, a guy comes out and presents a way to make more money in some type of Christian stock fund. After that someone comes out and says thank you for coming and time to go home. NO ONE ASKED OR TRIED TO LEAD ME TO CHRIST, NO PRAYER FOR, LIFES SITUATION, NO HEALING PRAYERS, NOT EVEN A FINAL PRAYER FOR TRAVELING MERCIES. I'm from up North and let me tell you southerners (supposed Bible Belt) churches....if you set up a church here for profiting and financial gain....IN THE NAME OF JESUS, MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOU!!! Wake up people and form a boldness for God!! Time to bring people back to GOD!! Quit playing on HIS HOLY TIME!! Lives need to be changed and souls need to be saved in Jesus mighty name.
