Overall This was amazing.
Kids did chocolate moose (1 each) and we (couple) shared a blueberry cheesecake (a hint of lemon grass was nerve touching)
Best surf and turf. Baby asparagus is worth it too. Try all the sauces you wont be disappointed.
Lipstick residue on wine glass is UNACCEPTABLE. Other glass was full of water hardness residue might be ok but could be better.
Now on the other side... place is EXTREMELY busy. This could be as we went on a Saturday evening. But i have been here many time and it's always packed.
I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant today. I ordered the chicken egg roll that came with sweet and sour mustard sauce on the side. Let me tell you, I tasted absolutely no trace of sweet or sour just painfully hot spicy sauce. I couldn't breathe and my chest was on fire! The waitress had no compassion whatsoever. She just said "I'll call the manager over". Ten minutes later the Chef... not the manager came over and offered other sauces. While I'm dying inside I didn't feel that anyone was concerned.. I've been to this restaurant a dozen times and ordered the same egg roll without this experience. The chef insisted that no mistake was made on his part and was very arrogant about it. I can definitely say I would not return to this location again.
When it comes to casual dinning for Chinese this is my spot. Love the decor of the restaurant and atmosphere are very calming.I love the orange chicken and Beef and broccoli are two of my favorite dishes. What can I say about the pork dumplings and hand rolled egg rolls taste so fresh are just so so good. I have never eaten here and left unsatisfied, the staff are great and very professional and its always so clean when I come here to eat. At time though you may have to wait to get a table but trust its worth it!!
Soulful food on a cold day...u cannot feel more blessed.
This time i saw ppl being told waiting was about 90mins (i am serious).
I have never gone here without a prior table booking.
BTW don't forget the fortune cookies
Food portions are big and ment to be shared (rather more enjoyable that way) and as an average eaters we endedup boxing leftovers (enough for two as a breakfast).
We tried Dumplings and Lettuce salad wrap as starters.
We did our booking just in time for a 7pm slot (though wanted 6pm and was unavailable)...and boy i was glad on my forward thinking.
Our waitress was superb and indeed very pleasant.
Main course was sweet n sour chicken, coconut curry vegetables, pad thai noodles and woked spinach. Rice bowls came complimentary.
Ambience is noisy but then thats what you asked for when want to go for good food.
One new intro was dessert tasting (small portion were helpful- very sensible idea)
2 stars for service and salty food. Waitress was nice and good but not double checked the glass was not best.
Highly recommend.... n yes don't go without a prior booking if its a weekend.
Paired with house red wine (on recommendation of our cheerful)
As family of 2 adults and 2 kids we spent around 125 + gratuity.
Spent around two hrs with family.
