I went to Durant a few years back and I was like "Whoa this school is cool" and now, here at Wakefield, it's somewhat the same. However, I think the cafeteria food needs a bit more work. When I was at Durant, the lunch people served home made macoroni and cheese, and it was so good. However, what I was pleased with Wakefield is how much electives there are. WAKEFIELD NEEDS TO IMPROVE THEIR DELICACY ON FOOD PLEASE! Thank you.

I have not been to Wakefield middle, I went to Durant middle for 6,7, and 8th grade but during my 8th grade year, my friends and I had a VERY unpleasant experience with the Wakefield cheerleaders. They were rude and a bully and harassing one of our own cheerleaders. Telling her to kill herself because no one cares about her. They kept making up account after account in Instagram to bully her. This was a disgrace and sets a bad reputation for this school.
I love this school! I am a 6th grader, but I'm now on summer break and going to 7th grade! Me and my best friend went together, and even though we were put in different pods, I made new friends! I was alone for the first couple weeks of school, but I eventually made friends to hang out with! There were a few prissy little twigs who acted like they were better than me, but it's much better than elementary school where it was full of prissy little twigs! There is like zero drama, and mostly everyone is nice to each other! I really like the 6/7 compacted math program, as it makes math not as easy, and I'm going to be doing high school math next year in 7th grade! I also like art club, as it is a fun extracurriculcar activity! I am also excited to try out for cheerleading in 7th grade! Overall, I love this school!
