our group would have perceived things differently if the owner said... “ may I get you a beer since we don’t serve wine?”
Great selection of craft beer along with wine and a cocktail menu. The environment is pretty standard for these shops but the friendly and knowledgeable employees make the shop a favorite.
Came up to our group and asked us to leave because “we don’t have a wine license.”

Owner Wendy is an amazingly nice and courteous woman, as well as the staff. Laid back place with very good music. Highly recommend a visit if you haven’t already!
Very neat place and they allow dogs and children. music they play is great 2000-2007 feel. I felt as if I were in college again!!! The beer is pricey at about $10.00 a bottle Yikes! and be aware no food, however lots of places will deliver through an app I believe.
Of course that didn’t happen and everyone we saw in their beer shop had a glass of wine...
It’s all about the approach...
All other Lafayette shop owners welcomed us.
Next year... I suggest the Crafty Beer Shop owners place a sign in their window to let attendants know they are not welcome.

Chocolate Wine and Cheese Festival this past weekend and many attendants wondered through the Crafty Beer Shop with their wine glasses.
Local beer shop with lots of character and a huge selection of beers. Usually a good crowd of local five points people. Dog friendly so bring your furry friend along.
