We went to Oak City for three years and left only recently because of the drive from Fuquay. I loved it here - very relaxed atmosphere, "holy rollers" need not apply, yet unafraid to teach the true gospel. Its a good mix, a safe place to call your church home if that's what you're looking for. If you're not sure about church in general but are at a point where you're thinking about investigating it, you'll be safe here too.
I love this church. The music for fellowship is awesome (drum kit, several guitars, keyboard, great singing - yes!), the service is excellent every week, and the other folks who attend are great.
