At first, I loved this practice. Then their financial coordinator called. She was rude, and even left a nasty voicemail about my new coverage stating "you actually got yourself in a worse plan..." and even laughed. That was it for me. Ms. Guin isn't knowledgeable and makes assumptions. My new plan is awesome and not sure why she would say that. Also, the front desk lady who scheduled my last appointment wouldn't even end her conversation with another worker to address and acknowledge my presence to schedule my next visit. I will no longer be needing their services due to mainly to their financial lady Ms. Guin, I can't see myself there without problems. Their way of "budgeting" are hard to understand, sloppy and unprofessional.
I am currently in my ninth month of pregnancy, and have seen all the doctors here at Blue Ridge. Dr Scott Anderson has worked with me the most, and is by far, hands down, my favorite. He has never made me feel like “just another patient” and has kept me reassured throughout my pregnancy, and has taken the time to answer any questions I’ve had, and even has gone so far to reviewing my entire file with the OB Coordinator when I called regarding my scheduled induction coming up after Christmas. Dr Placide and Dr Gunter are great as well and very personable, but I didn’t have the chance to see them as often. Dr Gaines is very to the point and old school, and though there are things I like about him, I felt like I left my last appointment with him with more questions than answers (he’s the one that scheduled my induction with little information as to how I needed to prepare). I have seen Dr Lindo once, and she is kind but very to the point. I am not comfortable with NP Donna Robertson, I’m not crazy about her bedside manner. Seems a little stuffy and like she just doesn’t want to deal with you or listen to your issues. The girls in the front have always been great and super friendly, and Amy the OB Coordinator has been wonderful as well; very reassuring and gentle with any fears and questions I’ve had. I am giving four stars instead of my planned three because of how much I really like Dr Anderson, Dr Placide, Dr Gunter, and Amy.
I've been going to Blue Ridge for over 7 years. I love the friendly service and very responsive staff. Most of all I love my doctor, Dr.Gunter. He's very knowledgeable and kind. Always goes over my options. As long as I live in Raleigh, I will always go here. I definitely recommend this place!
Long waiting time even with an appointment for early morning!!! and the Doctor didnt even look sorry for this poor service.
Great group of providers! I have delivered three healthy baby boys with this group and they were amazing. I had a lot of anxiety during pregnancy and Dr. Anderson was really awesome dealing with me and my irrational thinking. His caring, sincere, and empathetic attitude made me feel like he really cares about his patient's well being and that says a lot. I really am thankful that I was able to find a doctor who I trust and feel comfortable with. The care that I received from this practice was exceptional. I have referred many of my friends here and will continue to do so!
