My server Tia was AMAZING! I have no complaints about her I Just wish that she was the only person that I had to interact with while dining with my family at the Fridays located on wake forest road in Raleigh. Morgan was the server who brought the food out to my table. I asked her for Ketchup and tartar sauce and her response was "your server is right behind me" by the time that my server came back to my table my shrimp was cold and I let her know what Morgan said. She left to go get what I needed and Morgan who was NOT my server comes back to the table VERY confrontational with a tone that was not professional at all and says " YOU ASKED ME FOR TARTAR SAUCE" in front of my children who got uncomfortable instantly while Morgan was talking me like a crazy woman. I did not respond and say what I wanted as I refused to stoop to her level and simply asked her to remove herself from my presence and send over her manager. The manager comes over to the table giving out empty apologies. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO OFFENDED AND DISRESPECTED IN MY LIFE. THIS WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. How could an employee of your establishment and a server approach me in a confrontational way? She had NO business at my table and for her to approach me like that in front of my kids is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! Tia could not apologize enough. I am just so appalled. WORST DINING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! If I could give zero stars I would!
Unfortunately we didn’t get to eat here because we couldn’t get seated properly. At first they put our party of 6 at a table by the bathroom. We asked To be moved because the floor was sticky and had trash under the table.The waitress said she would take care of it and asked for our drink orders. She almost walked off after taking the kids drink orders until a person in our party told her she wanted a sweet tea. We waited for them to come back and clean but it still took a while so my husband went and asked if we could just move the two tables in next to us but the manager came back and said we couldn’t move any tables because it would block the bathroom, yet the table we were sitting at was directly in front of the bathroom. He said he would give us the booth in front of the restaurant once it was cleaned off. We waited some more just to see our table being given away to another large party so then we decided to walk out.
Order french onion soup, it tasted like it was made 5 days earlier. I ordered potatoes skins, that came out really crispy, burnt. Then I asked if they had bread and was given amazing bread sticks, but they added 2.95 on to the bill. Which the server never told me about and the manager was not nice at all. So if your looking for a late dinner here don't except to much out if it.
The food was ok, but there is a nasty smell when you sit at the bar. The bar needs to be gutted. The patrons were nice and so were the waitresses.
My husband and I ordered food last night via Grub hub. TGI Fridays use to be our favorite place to eat. For the past 5 years we have not lived near one and now that we do we are not able to go out due to having a 5 year old and 2 year old twins (I'm sure the resteraunt patrons would not appreciate us bringing them in,we are considerate people). My husband got his favorite Jack Daniel's burger,the burger was cooked perfectly, but the sauce all over it was disgusting! It was like a complete maple syrup, so where was the signature sauce?! I ordered chicken tenders where I usually would have gotten Friday's shrimp. It was the portion of a kids meal for $13,really?! We got fried green beans, my husband's favorite. There were so few and they were limp and soggy. Thank you so much for absolutely nothing but robbing us of our hard earned money. The menu prices are astronomical based on first the price $$ of food,second on the portions. So disappointed.
