Was alright.. wasn't overly impressed.

I would give this location a 5 star but the location is really small and easy to miss as such if you miss the turn you have to make a series of complex turns to make a second attempt that and there is a severe lack of adequate parking for the establishment as it shares its location with two other business adjacent to it. Coupled with the fact that seating is hectic and there is almost no guarantee you will find a seating and the space inside is super small so you are almost guaranteed to bump into someone or staff.

I really like Trophy. I have been to their location downtown as well. The beer and the service was great. Its a nice spot. The pizza was truly not amazing. Big thick crust that didnt have a whole lot of flavor. Ingredients were okay. I ate it all and was fine but I expected more! Check it out for the beer! Their flagships are awesome.

Beyond that they have a good selection of beers. Nothing strong but a drink you can enjoy and relax with and their pizza is incredible a lot of unique varieties beyond the usual common topping. The combination of Pizza and Beer from this joint is a match made in heaven. As their beer's really compliment the pizza's they make in this place. Also the service is far better than most locations of this nature. As wait staff makes sure to take care of every guest no matter where they are and are very prompt to your needs!

Not sure why anyone would ever give this place less than five stars. Prime example: I was there last night, ordered two 13" pizzas and one of the pizzas unfortunately lost a slice coming out of the oven. The staff was quick to explain what happened and told me that a new pizza would be on the way - I'm a reasonable person - Mistakes happen, but what happened after was very nice. The waiter returns a few minutes later with the original pizza and said that this was just something to snack on until the new pizza was out of the oven. It was probably 90% of a whole pizza untouched and it was absolutely free. Some places would have just tossed it or would have divided it with the staff to cut losses. I'm eating the second pizza for lunch in Greenville, NC this afternoon and you've got my business in the future! Thank you!

Sweater weather (cocktail) was rather potent..

Every friend of mine knows how much love I have for this place and no one would dare go to Trophy without asking me to join in first. My friends joke that I am secretly on their marketing team because I am always advocating for this place. Their innovation with beer and food never ceases to amaze me. Their staff is always friendly and approachable and cool as ever. Their pizza is hands down my favorite pizza in Raleigh and I studied abroad in Italy so I know good pizza! If you ever need a friend to accompany you to this wonderful establishment, pick me.

Of the three different slices of the signature pizzas my friends and I ordered, I don't think any of them brought home any magic..
