This is a place where u will be satisfied once u leave, thxs for the great service & dependability
I take my vehicle to Atkins for everything from body work to oil changes. Robert has always been friendly and honest! Atkins was able to diagnose and repair any problem that I have had. I highly recommend them.
Robert Atkins and his crew are one of the best. I've sent several cars out there for body, paint and mechanical work and have never been disappointed. Even if there ever is a problem, i know that Robert stands behind his work.
Took my SUV to get serviced and was very happy. Highly recommend anyone who needs their car serviced to go here. Hands down the best shop in town.
I took my son's car to Robert of Atkins Auto & Collision My son had rear ended another car and tore up his car to the tune of $4,700. That's what Robert quoted me. He said it would need a air bag which he said was $700 just for the air bag. There was a small part that clipped on the bumper that was square and that he would get one because when we picked the car up he did not have the part. I still don't have it months after the repair. When we picked the car up after paying him $4,700 it had a loud noise like there was a hole in the muffler. It was very loud, you could hear it over the radio. My son drove it for a few days and no change with the noise. I called Robert and he said bring it in and he would check it out. When I went to pick up the car there was not change in the noise and he told me that he checked the motor mounts and they were fine. I WAS NOT HAPPY, so I took it to my mechanic whom I have used for 4 yrs and is very trustworthy. He check it and called me to say that it had a cracked motor mount so I had him fix it after Robert looked at it twice. I just thought Robert could not fix or did not want to spend any more money after I paid him what he quoted, $4.700. The airbag light also stayed on after we picked it up. I called Robert and he said the computer had to sync up with the sensor and to give a few days. Well a week later the light was still on. He would not do anything. I took it back to my mechanic and for $85 to check the electric sensor. he said there was a short between the sensor and the bag and it would cost another $370. Robert should have fixed this but he told he would change me again after installing the airbag which was included in the original quote . Now I am up to around $720 out of my pocket after paying Robert $4,700 . already. He also did not fix the front end properly and the frame rubbed against the A/C coil and caused it to leak and my mechanic charged me $370 to fix that. My mechanic said the front was not fixed correctly at all ll!!!!!!!!! So I paid Robert $4,700 and now I need to spend another $1,000 or so to clean up what Robert did not fix AND WOULD NOT STAND BEHIND HIS WORK. I will never see him again unless he at least gives me $700 of the $1,000 I will end up spending. I have already spent $370 and now I have to fix the air bag. He also got so mad at me I thought he was going to fight me and his dad was there and told me I was crazy. The apple does not fall far from the tree!!!! It is a shame this has to happen and $700 is a lot of money to me and I don't know how to get help. Stay away from this business.
