I use pep boys for all my routine maintenance. This particular location is better than the fuquay varina location. They are by far nicer and easier to deal with then the times I have gone to the other location.
Also! They send out really good coupons! If you want good customer service and quality service at a good price you should come here.
Ive been to this location MANY times. Ive had a nail in my tire, needed new brakes, oil changes, inspections and new tires. Every single time I've received excellent customer service. I'm actually blown away at how friendly they are. They take the time to explain the things you need without trying to sell you things you do not need. I used to go to the dealership and felt ripped off every time. It's the complete opposite here!
Terrible place. Brought my car in to have it looked at and get a quote. Got my car back and the hood won't open without fiddling with it and it won't close at all. Something in the engine is shaking so I called pep boys and they said sorry. We can't do anything about it. It was like that when we got it.
I took my car here because of a regular service light that came on in my car. I am 19 years old and am not excellent on car knowledge, but I'm not an idiot either. I was told my coolant, air conditioner, rear brakes, and serpentine belt were all broken or worn down enough to needed replacement. After a second inspection at another shop, I was advised that nothing was wrong with my car. There was no brake wear, nothing wrong with the serpentine belt or anything, they had lied. This Pep Boys location was about to have me spend over $2,000 on non-existent problems. My advice would be to only go here if you know extensively about cars. They will exploit your lack of car knowledge for your money if you aren't careful. I won't return to this location and I know now to only use someone I trust that I know has my best intentions, because this store does not.
Ripped me off on labor costs, since when does anyone pay $145 dollars an hour for car repairs, seriously 800 for a 5 and a half hour job is unethical. All the nice employees in the world cannot make up for ripping people off.
I appreciate the quality service I receive each time. Ive referred all my family and friends to come here.
