First time going here when I was visiting family in NC. Nice clean store, fair pricing and great customer service!
Belks has always been a favorite store for my shopping needs. But the store at Triangle Town Center is in real need of some attention from management. I was in the dressing room today and the floors were so filthy that I didn't want to take my shoes off to try on pants. The dressing room also smells of urine and all of them are dirty. These conditions have existed for quite some time. I could only find one register open on all of the first floor. Of the two young ladies working the register, one was in training and kept interrupting the one girl that knew how to run the register. On top of that they were promoting a charity event which slowed checkout even more. There are many name brands in clothing that are sold at the Crabtree store that are not sold here at Triangle Town Center so choices are very limited here. I'm not sure what the reasons are that this store has been allowed to deteriorate so badly but if management plans to keep this store open, somebody needs to pay attention!
This is a store where the employees don't really spend much time working with the customers, but are either running registers or not out in the open at all. I made a purchase a couple of weeks ago and unlike other Belk stores they ask to view picture id for credit card purchases. Like the Belk corpoate leadership says, this store is almost entirely women's and modern. There isn't a great deal of selection, and what they have in stock you can't find.
