I've been going to this office for almost 17 years. Though I've seen a turn over of staff over the years, they have always been thorough. Dr. Perkins is top notch. My special needs son has seen the pediatric side of RNA, Dr. Z. (Several years ago, but he was approachable, kind, thorough, sweet and in general a great specialty physician) When it comes to neurology, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They come highly recommended. Once when my special needs son was hospitalized they used the time to do a 24hrs EEG with camera to look for seizure activity. Dr. W came in the room and was very nice and looked through the previous 24hrs monitoring while in the room. (About 20-30mins and he was done) You can tell he has done this for years and is extremely knowledgeable in his profession.
I've always had a great experience with the staff. The doctor is kind, patient, extremely up to date on the latest research, & takes time to answer my questions.
Best place for chronic migraine. I've had chronic migraine/cluster migraines for over 10 years. I've received care from the leading doctors in California. I was nervous when I moved to NC to seek care from a new neurologist. I had one poor experience with my first Neurologist there, but I was put with Dr. Farrell next and he was by far the best neurologist I've ever had. I've always struggled to find something that worked for my migraines and I've literally tried everything. They are on top of the latest treatments (FDA new approvals). They will work with you to help manage the pain. They are easy to make an appointment with and were always able to get me. Every migraine patient should be treated at Raleigh Neurology as it is a real game changer in how you will feel.
After finishing up this review, it's time we take ourselves somewhere else.
This practice is unprofessional and gives the impression they would prefer to be anywhere else. My spouse and I have used two previous neurologists for his MS when we lived in other areas. We've never experienced this level of nonsense.
Dr. Perkins and his assistant were very thorough and effective. I had refreshing sleep the same night, after 15 months without. The receptionist somehow got me in the same day on a cancellation. It was honestly my best birthday so far. Thanks!
I won't even go into what I think of the MD in charge of his medical management.
