Here are some issues we had. I scheduled an appointment for my 16 year old daughter to see the doctor (based on referral from another provider). I clearly said daughter is 16 and gave her birthdate. The short version is that after we were at the appointment, the doctor said she doesn't see patients under age 18. The doctor (Dr. Miller) said she understood that I am frustrated but it was an error on the part of the person scheduling the appointment -- and she had already investigated who the person was. She gave me the name and contact info for the office manager and encouraged me to contact that person to voice my compliant. However, when I arrived at the office for the 2:30 appointment, the receptionist at the desk could have told me at that time they didn't see teens/children. Instead, I completed all of the paperwork, provided my insurance, daughter's ID. Then we waited for 45 minutes in the waiting room before even going back with nurse. The nurse might have told us the doctor doesn't see teens. But no - waited another 15 minutes after that before the doctor came in. And did all the nurse stuff (temp, blood pressure, etc). All of that was total waste of time. I was less upset at the phone person who scheduled the appointment and more upset with the missed opportunities to have saved me time once I was there. Even if we were to have been seen as usual, the wait time alone was off putting. One of the forms to sign is a document stating you will pay $100 if you do not provided 3 days notice to cancel a procedure. Apparently my time is not as valuable as that of the doctor and practice.
Receptionist and nurse were warm and thorough. Nurse and doctor were informative, helpful, and made every effort to make my experience comfortable.
I wouldn’t recommend this office. No one contacted me after my procedure to make a follow up appointment even though my tests were inconclusive. My results were unclear and no one explained them to me; I just paid my medical bills and then was dismissed, unfortunately resulting in a waste of time and money.
