Geico has stolen my money and they refuse to refund it to me as I was promised a specific rate for great coverages and it turned out to be the state's minimum coverages and the manger/supervisor I spoke with Shina id# U88FD1 and Michelle id# 86622 who's manager's name was Frank in Fredricksburg, VA provided me with the worst possible customer service ever. Michelle refused my request when I asked for another supervisor. I'm absolutely DISGUSTED with the service I've received.
We've had Geico for years. Our car broke down in the small town of Wendell, NC. We requested a tow service and the estimated time was 1 hr. Instead of sitting in a hot car for one hour, we called for a family member to pick us up (by us, I mean one father, one mother, and 3 boys under the age of 9.) We went home, cooked dinner, and my husband began preparing for his evening Bible Study class. 2 HOURS later he called to speak with an actual person to make sure that the request for the tow truck and the location of delivery was confirmed. The associate confirmed that the tow truck driver was still in Knightdale, NC, on his way to tow our car to our preferred location. My husband told the associate that he had left the key to our vehicle on the passenger side tire. The associate confirmed. My husband hung up the phone. 3 HOURS LATER my husband called again to confirm the delivery of our car to our preferred mechanic in Wendell, NC. The associate claimed that the tow tuck driver, "could not find the key to the vehicle" and left the car on the side of the road without notifying us of the issue WOW. OK. My husband drove another car to the location of the vehicle, and located the key in the exact spot he specified it to be within at approximately 10:00pm the same evening, approximately 5 hrs after requesting roadside assistance from Geico. Awesome. Way to support the working class. I am a WCPSS Special Ed. teacher, and my husband works for SAS. We thought we were making the safe choice for our family, and this company's historical data verified sufficiency. Clearly, small town America can not trust Geico employees, or their mission statement and business vision.
I have been with geico for almost 4years, but on Monday Oct 23,2017 why did one of their employees let someone who is not on my policy make a decision about a car situation, when/where/ time to take the car to the body shop and also told them they would also get an rental????? I am still pissed off about that because they were only suppose to ask them a few questions about the accident.

I applied for a quote with GEICO and was pleased with my price of 141.00 and was ready to swap from 20 years with State Farm. Well right at the end of completing and my credit card payment the lady came back on the line and said ok the payments will be 174.00 per month
