One of raleigh's hidden gems. A green oasis in the urban core. A quiet place to read a book and eat your lunch
Beautiful historic home full of period antique furniture and artifacts. My sister had her wedding here and it was great fun to wander around freely, looking at all the history. We changed into our wedding outfits in one of the upstairs bedrooms and were tickled to find the wardrobes were even full of 100+ year old clothing.
It's a awesome history place, feel good to see
Hidden gem in the heart of downtown. Love this place.
The grounds were also lovely: a large back garden with lots of shade and paths, plus many of the original historic outbuildings.
