Great place for kids of all ages. The entrance fee is very reasonable as well. Lots to get a child's imagination going. Hands on activities. Things that are made here may be shared with others on display or take them home. Entire area is clean; helpful, polite and great staff there. An all day adventure is very possible or just a couple hours to get out of heat, cold or bad weather.

The museum is very nice and was a fun experience for my daughter. I don’t like the parking situation. You have to park in the deck and pay for that and then when you come out of the deck, it’s hard to tell which way the museum is. Then when you go back to your car, there’s more than one parking deck. I guess this is an a problem if you live nearby but for people coming from another city, still in North Carolina, but not living in Raleigh, it’s confusing. Then there are the one way streets… Basically, we like museum, but not the location.

There is snack bar or you can bring a picnic. Great place can't say enough good things about this place.

Staff is always super friendly n playful. I love that it's a job but it's also an interactive thing for staff. Always recommend and bring family from out of state. So much to do here

Perfect atmosphere for children of all ages! There is lieterally something to do for each age group. The exhibits are all hands on and interactive. The environment promotes fun learning and energy. It’s a great place for little ones to open up and explore different things: sports, water activities, music, art, even wood work and building! I must say that this museum is a great help to my engineer in the making! The on-site cafe has food that is high priced but poorly tastes. If you eat somewhere else, you’ll be good! Other than that, great museum! We will be back - maybe even to host a birthday party of two!!

This place is fantastic for kids (and kids at heart) of all ages. We took my 14 month old here and spent hours playing at all the different exhibits and centers. We didn't even get to everything that the place offered, there was so much to do. Some of the areas were definitely more for older kids (arts and crafts, woodworking, and entrepreneurial areas) but that just means kids can grow with the place. They are also looking to expand the museum so that means more new stuff! The cost is very affordable for a day pass though the membership is totally worth getting so you can visit whenever you want. I'd recommend this place to everyone!

Parking free on Saturday..plus for Raleigh

Activities are planned in advance here too.

I remember It cost $5 to get in but today 3 people cost me $22 But I used my veterans discount and it went down to 19
