Can I rate this company a zero? Linda Tolliver with Carter Realty is a greedy, conniving scam artist. They will do whatever it takes to nickel and dime people. The woman who answers the phone at the office is incredibly unprofessional (she literally answers the phone "ughh yes..?"). I am so completely dumbfounded by their rudeness, greediness, and lack of respect, that I will publish this under my full name. I have never written a review before and I am not going to go into detail here but I will gladly supply details to anyone who would like to reach out and contact me for more information.
No wonder this agency has such bad reviews! I wish I had read them before moving into one of their properties... Very bad experience, Miss Linda Tolliver knows to play her role and get every penny form you. She never helped us and they ended up taking a part of our deposit for miscellaneous things. We have been renting for more than 8 years and never have had such problems with any other landlords. Save yourself from headaches, look for a more professional agency.
If you value quality customer service stay as far away from this business as humanly possible.
Stay away from this agency! Horrible service and be assured they'll take your deposit when you leave, for crap that no other real estate office would think of. If you want no headaches and no stress during your future tenancy, do yourself a big favor and don't deal with Carter Realty!
Very slow to respond or take care of repair request. No follow-up on phone calls or emails unless you constantly push. Very unprofessional property manager. She pretends to understand your needs and makes false action plans. Then when you bust her for not following through, she is curt and rude. More of a property "babysitters" than "managers" because they only manage to avoid work and responsibility while collecting fees.
