The food is gross and overpriced, but that's pretty much a given at these types of places.
The guy who was working the laser tag desk last Friday night was just amazing. Sweetest person ever ♡ it was one of my kid's first time playing laser tag and I was bummed because it was really dead that night, and a game of laser tag with just a couple kids is no fun at all. So I was trying to ask the front desk if they could say over the loud speakers for kids to go play laser tag
This is a clean place, including the bathrooms. It's well staffed. Not all the kids who work here are friendly, but that doesn't bother me.
Galaxy Fun Park is a great place to take kids. My daughter who is 7 had a great time riding the go-carts, walking on the galaxy space walk and she absolutely loved the laser tag. There are so many games and there is also a trampoline section with a lounge so parents can watch the kids jump while relaxing. It was reasonably priced and great because it is all indoors and it was actually snowing on the day we went. Nice, fun, safe experience!
Otherwise, we had a good time and would give it another try.
I've always been hesitant about trampoline places for my son, due to safety reasons. Galaxy is the only trampoline place we will go because they require that you watch a safety video before jumping this provided a complete visual to all those safety precautions I've been trying to explain to him but in a cool way! Not to mention they have so much more to do there it's the ultimate place to be to have fun! Prices are reasonable also. We will be back for his birthday!!
The bad things:
My family and I visited Galaxy Fun Park for the first time this weekend. My 3 year old had a ball. It wasn't much to do for my 1 year old but he enjoyed the sights and sounds. The food was great, the facility was clean and the staff (for the most part) was friendly. It was SUPER busy but I expected that for a Saturday. The reason why I didn't give 5 stars was because of my concerns about safety and security. During my visit, a couple got into an argument at one of the party rooms. The situation escalated quickly and I felt unsafe. I was standing right beside the commotion at the prize counter. ALL of the staff (mostly high school aged kids) stood either staring or laughing. I had to insist they call security before anyone moved. Fortunately it was handled but it could have immediately gone badly. They need to be trained to think and move quickly in those situations. Secondly, I can't tell you how many carts I saw unattended with birthday presents and guest check holders (with credit cards in them). Again, something needs to be put in place to safeguard people's stuff. These issues would make me hesitant to hold my kids party here.
I did a groupon for the jumping so that was a better price of course. BUT I would never come here again because every different part of the facility you have to pay for (even the dumb little climbing area) Also, the jumping part is not as well laid out as RUSH jumping park is, and it only has trampolines, no foam pit or ropes or anything. It does have 3 basketball hoops and a fluffy air thing to run across, but, like I said, it's not that amazing.
The good things:
The laser tag game only lasts 15 minutes at the most, for $8 a pop, so that's a bummer. I would rather do laser tag a dedicated place where you get a longer game, and I'd rather jump at RUSH
I had a total of five Kids with me when i visited. The staff was so helpful and nice. They talked to the kids and explained things well. They also assist me with all of my needs. I will definitely be returning
