All you can eat. Long lines are common. Howling Cow milk and ice cream. It's a mix of good food with a somewhat cramped atmosphere.

Better than golden corral- lucky charms

Fountain has provided me with an abundance of unpleasant memories from all three meals of the day. Breakfast is a positively horrifying experience with bacon that is somehow undesirable, and often is accompanied by strange foods that are attempting to be fancy but end up being awful. I have heard that the omelets are good, but usually the line for them is extremely long. Lunch is also a mediocre experience at best. If they are serving wraps, it is usually a solid option to avoid rolling the dice with whatever other foods they are serving. Dinner is usually a toss up. The pasta, nine times out of ten, has been sitting for too long and is ridiculously soft, coated with sauce that lacks both taste and appeal. Chicken tender days are by far the best, and it is not a bad idea to check the website before you go and see what they are serving.

All complaining aside, there is an (almost) unlimited amount of soft-serve Howling Cow ice cream in Fountain, and if you eat enough of it, you might get your money's worth.

Very awesome dining hall and had a great experience during my years at NCSU from 8/2003 through 5/2006. Occasionally come here to eat a good meal every year. They have good parking in the Dan Allen Parking Lot. Tasty food & breakfast eggs are my favorite! Hope to stop by again in the Fall. Removed one star because prices are increasing faster than inflation but fortunately I can afford their high prices. ;)

Fountain dining hall is an all encompassing treat for any and all ages at any time of the day. Hark the flaky biscuits that are made bright and early every morning by the cheerful dining staff. Enjoy a trip to flavor town with the weekly boom boom wraps. Gorge yourself on the saucy pasta bar and leave feeling satisfied. Consume a delicious dairy desert after your meal, no matter the time of the day an smile at this wonderful eating establishment.
