He's the best in the business, without question, bar none. If you go anywhere else it's a mistake.
I bring my 2008 corvette here. He is very honest and Helpful. Also, If you have aftermarket parts he's one person you can trust not to steal parts off your car!!!!
Had several conversations with Mr West. Added some needed work to the job. Had William Baldwin of Baldwin Performance Carburetor call him to describe additions. I then called him to verify he was willing to do additional repairs. He then informed me he would not do job. Said he did the like my attitude and didn't feel good about it. My attitude is fine. He was rude and somewhat confrontational with me. Turns out other people (including vendors) have had the same experience with Mr. West. I'm just glad I found out before I took my classic car to him. It would have probably been tied up and in pieces for weeks. Business is business. What's your problem Mr West?
If I could give him 1000 stars I would! Mr. West has been my family's mechanic for over 30 years. I'd take my car to no other place! He's very frank and honest. He's not trying to swindle anyone out of their money and he's very professional. I appreciate his directness and hope everyone that comes in contact with him appreciates such an honest mechanic. They are definitely few and far between. I stay almost 2 hours away and come all of the way back home just to have my car serviced. If that doesn't sum it up,I don't know what will! John West Auto
