A great deal of effort seems to be put into making a well-organized, clean store... If only the lines were not always so ridiculously long that it makes me regret putting in the time I took walking around the store gathering merchandise. Oh, and the food is hit or miss in quality, but most people know that.
I had been having the worst struggle with activating my Straight Talk phone and had spent hours of time on the phone with customer support for both Apple and Straight Talk. I came into Walmart last Friday, defeated by almost a week of nonproductive phone calls when I met Omega at the Straight Talk counter. Omega is a straight up QUEEN! She helped talk to customer service for me and truly went above and beyond. I can not believe the time and effort she spent helping me with this issue, it was truly amazing. I now have a phone number and data plan. Omega deserves all of the holiday blessings and at the very least- a raise!
This place is like most Walmart’s, but the reason I’m writing a review is because I purchased some groceries here and left a bag of juices in the rotating bag section of the register. It was about an hour later that I realized so I called them and they told me to bring my receipt into customer service & they would take care of it for me... so a few hours later after running errands I went back. Showed them the receipt & explained what happened and with no further questions they told me I could go and get the items from the aisle and they had me sign and that was it. I was a little shocked at how easy they made it for me and how trusting that service actually is. No one had a bad attitude during the process and this seems to be quite standard at this Walmart.
Walmart is a necessary evil. Prices are of course good but they never have enough cashiers. And self checkout is a nightmare. Sometimes I have to shop early on a weekday morning and there are no cashiers before 8am. So what should be a 30 min errand turns in to an hour because you have to cash out a full cart of groceries at self check out. Not fun!! I'm not sure how I feel about self check out. I often wonder if it takes away the opportunity for someone to have a job?
Great display of items, every thing neatly arranged.. Great selections of Holiday items.. Great prices... The Hot food selection was wonderful.. Samples was offers d before purchasing. Customer friendly.. Great staff. The new Hair salon offers women of braiding. and.weaving of hair other options... As i walk through the store they was a service person at each section to help assist me.. The service tome for waiting in line could be more speedily , the good thing about it gave me time to meet and greet other while standing in line. I meet a women for two different country outside the US and they are believers of Christ you never know who you might meet in Walmart.. Thank Walmart for a Great Experience...
