The spray ground and baby pool is what drew me to visit this pool with my toddler, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice they are. We also briefly went into the covered pool (which had much cooler water than the outdoor baby pool, so that was refreshing). I do wish there was a gate between the spray ground and the baby pool to make it easier to go between them. Locker rooms weren't super clean at our visit towards the end of the day, but we just came prepared with shower shoes and put our towels on surfaces before sitting down. The staff was all friendly.
The facilities are fun but the lifeguards are being super rude towards the children I've brought with me which is very disappointing.

I use Millbrook Pool as my year-round swim training pool. As a triathlete, I need a facility I can swim in year round and Millbrook fits the bill perfectly. They have a permanent structure over the pool that keeps things warm in the winter and roll-up doors on the building that allow for fresh air in the summer. There are always plenty of lap lanes available for early morning swim workouts and they keep a few available at other times during the day. The only thing I wish they could do something about would be the locker rooms. They show their age a little (compared to Optimist Pool), but it isn't enough to scare me off. And the best part: the staff at this pool is VERY friendly. No matter whether you show up for a 6 a.m. lap swim session or bring the kids on a hot summer day, the staff always greets you warmly and makes you feel glad to be there!
Nice indoor for grown-ups and outdoor for kids. One issue: change your kid into swim clothes ahead of time, the locker rooms are not designed well for folks who have kids.
