I feel like this being financial it should be ok to at least ask if it has been received and it would be nice to receive an email saying its in process.
It seems they would at least send an email saying claim received, claim in process, and etc.
And then she reiterated to not call.
I mailed my claim in and called after a couple of weeks called to confirm receipt and the girl Madlyn I talked to was rude and said it wasnt received and maybe because I sent it on a holiday week. March 8 isnt a holiday week. Well, it finally was received 4/13, having taken 5 wks in the mail.
Now, today I called to see if its being worked on and if anything is needed. I got Madelyn again..she said she is not a processor, and if they need anything they will email me and there is no status. To wait 90 days.
I had a claim that processed in one week.I was amazed.
Alot of states have a status check online.
I now have a claim and when I was filling it out I had questions and I talked with Gabriella. She had great customer service skils and answered every question. She was also very patient.
She made it clear to not call. I did ask her if she is not a processor what is her job there
( she answers calls for some reason ) and she just kinda mumbled.
