First I want to thank the entire Merrimon-Wynne team for their guidance, accommodation, and attention to detail leading up to and during our wedding. We quickly fell in love after learning the history of the house and once we saw it in person we were beyond charmed by its tall ceilings, large windows and gold accents found in the vintage fixtures. We wanted to have a more intimate, romantic wedding and the space allowed us to bring that vision to life. Being able to choose our own vendors for the wedding was another big plus -- this is especially helpful for couples who may already have some vendors in mind. Overall, one of the best venue experiences I've ever had as the event planner and the bride. The staff was organized, communicated well, and was always relaxed, calm and excited to see everything come together. Special thanks to Kaila who took incredibly good care of us and made sure things ran smoothly from start to finish. Couldn't have done this without your help!
We attended a wedding here and it was excellent! The venue is very nice, historic, well kept, clean, and functional. The main house is a good gathering place for cocktails and reception with multiple rooms to roam around. The hall next to it is a nice venue for sit down meal with a small dance floor. There is an outdoor area that is landscaped and immaculately kept (although you get astro-turf for the very pretty "grass". It's functional in that the crowd can spread around. It looks historic and just very picture perfect. The downtown Raleigh location is convenient. Parking seems to be no problem. The whole neighborhood is nice.

I cannot say enough great things about The Merrimon-Wynne House. First off, the house is stunning! Facilities are kept in pristine condition and the house radiates as you enter the doors. Their staff is amazing as well! I worked directly with Kaila (she was also our day of coordinator) and she was a rock star. Not once through the planning process did I ever have to worry about her forgetting a detail. She was on top of everything, worked directly with our vendors as the wedding got closer and was the best coordinator we could have asked for. We are so blessed we were able to have our wedding here and had the opportunity to work with Kaila!

I knew from the minute I first saw the Merrimon - Wynne that it was where I wanted to get married. Jodi, Amy, Kaila, Danielle (and the entire day-of team) ensured that our day was flawless and that we were well taken care of. They were so attentive, kind, and professional. The house is utterly gorgeous. Our guests raved about how beautiful and how convenient the location was. Perfection! Thank you so much!!
