Laid back, super friendly cycling gurus. Helped me pick out a bike lock, then installed its holster free of charge. You'll get more than product/part recommendations; they'll provide you with information about all the major options along with their respective pros/cons. They're also helping me revive my battered Trek 5000 in affordable fashion. Thanks, OCCP.
Rented four great bikes for a weekend stay & it could not have been easier! The staff was super friendly and so accommodating with our schedule. Highly rec!
I went to the Oak City Cycling to have my bicycle tuned up and was impressed by the friendly and helpful customer service. They were helpful in providing guidance on the level of service required and some additional gear I asked about. Their pricing is very reasonable and my 10 year old bike rides like the day I bought it. I will be going back in the future for all my biking needs and highly recommend them for any cycling advise or service needs.
I stopped on into this bike shop for a new lock and bottle cage. I was helped out by David, who was great to talk to and answered all my questions about different types of locks. And he was kind enough to let me use a tool to install my bottle cage. I've experienced some bike shops who's employees have somewhat of an elitist attitude, but you will not find that here. You will find people here with great experience and know-how, who don't judge newcomers or inexperienced riders. This is such a great bike shop! Thanks y'all! (^_____^)
Went there skeptical of all the high scores-was blown away by service and attention to detail. I tried a couple of bikes. The owner could have easily unsold me as I had and still have minimal clue on differences. He took into consideration my riding location and let me try a number of bikes (of varying styles). I am impressed he did not upsell me when I demonstrated an interest in the cheaper option. My bike has an oak city sticker on the frame-I am happy to support this place. Good people. They also have two tapes and the option of renting a bike stand to learn/fix your own bike. Parking is bad but this place is worth the parking situation considering how great the service was.
