I think the above situation speaks for itself. They at first knowingly gave me a smoke smelling car and then told me to hurry up when it came to inspect my new one. Very poor custom service.
Bad rental experience at this location.
Upon returning the car there was only one employee working with 5 customers in line. I spoke to the other customers in line and one lady had been waiting for almost 2 hours to just rent a car. The employee claimed they had no cars but I was just in the lot and it was full of rental cars.
I have rented from this location several times and I have had a very pleasant experience every time I rent from them. The customer service is excellent. They are courteous and get you on your way quickly and efficiently. No long lines like at RDU. Just simply get you your keys and get you going as fast as they can. What more could you ask for?
I arrived 15 min later than closing time - my luck that the owner was still there. he was amazing and very nice about getting me into my ride as I was headed to a very important interview. Id rent from here again in a heart beat!
When I was inspecting the new car the boss came by and told me to hurry up and not worry about the small scratches since they are covered. He said they were very busy and didn't have time for me to not pick the car for inspection.

I have rented vehicles at this location on Glenwood at Sears in Crabtree several times. Everyone there is courteous and friendly. Prices are very competitive. I have received great customer service each and every time.
Also, I later noticed that the car I ended up getting had no windshield wiper fluid. Absolutely none. This, in itself, is not an issue but if they don't refill simple wiper fluid, I wonder what other maintenance they are neglecting to do.
Had a rental reservation and when I arrived I was given the option of two cars. I choose a car and went out to inspect it. The employee had me note where I noticed scratches on the car so of course I took my time looking the car over for anything I saw.
I tried to rent a truck from budget. It was easily the worst experience I have ever had renting anything. Not only was the truck not at the location that they told me it would be when I booked it a week in advance, there wasn’t a truck that available within 60 mi. I was never warned that this was a possibility to save me the trip and when budget called late that day to tell me that they could send me a different truck they never sent an email to tell me where to pick it up. I got a truck in 5 minutes from Thailand and it was $30 cheaper!
Upon finalizing everything I got in the car and the interior reeked of cigarette smoke. I caught up to the employee and told him I want another car and I wouldn't be taking this one. He agreed and told me he knew about the smoke smell and then confirmed with his boss about getting me a new car.
I took pictures of the car upon returning because this location gave me the feeling that they would try to charge me for anything they could.
I ended up returning the car a day early but did not feel like waiting in line to get a refund for the early return.
If you need a car and don't mind waiting I a super long time and poor customer service then this place will do. Otherwise, go anywhere else.
