I should have paid more attention to the reviews. That's on me. What a terrible experience. The guy explained the toll situation so poorly in NC and i received a bill that charges me $15 per toll and the tolls are not even a $1 each. Don't rent from this crappy establishment. I had to give them 1 star. otherwise I'd give them none.
Horrible. They treated my wife like garbage. Her name is Erica. Their KIA they rented to my wife... the windows and locks stopped working halfway into her trip. She had belongings stolen. And they had no care or help assisting her. The manager told her it wasn't her problem and offered nothing. On top of that we received a 50 dollar bill for tolls. The tolls only cost 3.50 cents which is fine but "dollar" rental car charges a $40.00 administration fee for this. Unbelievable. Men in customer service do not need to treat women like garbage. Get a new job if you hate your life so much. We will never use dollar rental again and will tell many people to not use them. This doesn't deserve a single star.
So freaking slow. Absolutely absurd. They have a kiosk which had promise. However they tell you to just go meet someone outside to get the key but the person outside can’t actually help you. Terrible. I hope this company goes bankrupt.
I was initially scared to rent a car based on the reviews. However, I had a wonderful experience with Dollar. After being told I would need a credit card to rent from Enterprise I went across the street to Dollar. It was 4:30am New Years Eve and they were open. I rented a Toyota Corolla for a cheaper price than Enterprise & had no problem using my debit card. The car was clean & great on gas. The staff was helpful with returning the car the next day. I will definitely rent with them again!
I will never even remotely consider renting from this company again. Not only did they give me the wrong car but when I finally got the right car the dash said "Maintenance Required". They told me not to worry about it and just drive the car. The car was dirty upon receipt and they offered no help in loading the bags, car seats, or strollers. Now two weeks after I returned the car to them they send me an invoice for another $100 for tolls. The toll charge was $6 - they're billing an extra $15 per toll as a fee. This company is awful.
