I would give 0 stars if I could. Worst customer service ever. Couch was delivered and upon inspecting it that night we found some issuses with the couch that we didn’t think were correct. I called customer service and emailed photos in. After talking on the phone with someone for almost an hour trying to get someone to come out and look at the couch she finally said someone would call. Of course no one called. I call back and have to go through the WHOLE PROCESS again. I was told when buying the couch that if there were any issues to call it and it would be taken care of. Definitely not. The whole reason of buying from this expensive brand is for the couch to be perfect. Would love yo be contacted by any one high up in Ashley furniture because trying to get my couch replaced is a nightmare and I’m being told different things by different customer service agents. When you pay this much money for a couch, it should come in the condition promised and if it doesn’t it should be replaced. Will never purchase anything from this store again.
I love the dining room table I purchased from here. It is a five star table! Sturdy, well made, beautiful. My reasoning for 3 stars is the sales process. I realize Ashley Furniture needs to make money, but they were only willing to deliver free if I purchased the "warranty". We declined their firm offer and walked out. We had visited multiple times and our salesperson knew we wanted that table. A few weeks later, we happened to be out during a snowstorm (most people stay inside) and stopped by the store to see the table again and look for a sale. They were having a "drive foot traffic in winter snow sale!". Everything was 20-25% off ( I cant remember)! Wow! The manager would not give me a penny off the price but here the table was sitting there for 20-25% off on a snow day. I purchased the table that same day for 20-25% off and im so happy with it. Our sales lady who, had our info, failed to call us to share the sale... we happened to walk in on our own. I really disliked playing hardball for the table I wanted. Hopefully the manager has become more willing to negotiate since my visit(s).
Salesperson greeted us at the door when we really just wanted to peruse on our own. The store may be good for those who want furniture you can find anywhere. They had good financing options and just an okay selection for what we were looking for. Everything looked pretty cookie-cutter.
The shopping experience was fine and quality of my dining room set was awesome, just them getting my order right was a bit of nightmare. I had to wait a week and half for a delivery I paid $100 for and the set arrived from Charlotte's distribution center with 2 of my 6 chairs incorrect (my order had 6x of the same part #, so this error is really inexcusable). Delivery staff made the CS call on the spot, great. But the store failed to call me within the 48 hours I was advised, even after leaving messages, and I had to trek out to the store to get some to fix the issue and get things moving. Then I waited another week to finally get the wrong chairs swapped out.
The store staff was really nice and helpful. However, the delivery process is horrible. Will never purchase from them again for that reason. They won't accept responsibility for the discrepancy that they have with that "tracking system" don't even waste your time using it. They only got a 2 from me because of Hubert at the store who helped me.
