I would not recommend Haverty's to my worst enemy. After purchasing over $5000 worth of furniture, my delivery was confirmed and rescheduled three times. On the fourth attempt, it was delivered in a damaged state. The service technician confirmed the damage at a fifth appointment and hopefully they will fix at the sixth appointment. They have no understanding that people spending this amount of money actually have to work for it and have schedules aside from waiting on furniture. If I provided this level of customer service at my practice, I would not be able to afford any such furniture.
They have some very good quality furniture there. Great furniture that is put together with dove tail joints.
I will never do business with Haverty’s again. I ordered a sofa, chair, and 2 special order pillows in July 2017. One of the pillows was only semi-filled when I picked it up from the store on Glenwood. I had to go through a process of proving it was flat by taking pictures and submitting a claim. It is now December 2017 and I was informed the new pillow may come by February 2018. They stated that l, because it is special order, I had to wait this long. When I originally ordered the pillows, they said it might take 8-12 weeks, but never stated it would take 7 months to receive something that I purchased. I asked for compensation, such as return on my money or being able to return the pillows, yet they won’t do anything to accommodate me and the fact that I’ve had to wait almost 6 months for pillows that i ordered and paid for in July 2017
Never had a problem with pushy salesmen at Havertys. Everything in the showroom is for sale including wall and table decorations. Great selection in store with more online. Delivery is flexible, and trustworthy (they are not a contractor, they are actually Havertys employees). They will even assemble your furniture in your home.
We had a great experience at Haverty's despite having a cranky 3 year old with us. We purchased the Bentley Leather Sectional with power-recliners and are VERY happy with the quality, the delivery service, and the overall value. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable and worked hard for us without being pushy. He even helped us save more money because of a deal going on. Just had to spend $40 more to then save $250. He went through the whole store and found us the perfect throw blanket at just $40 to get us that extra savings!
