I've been to this location for my annual check ups and they were okay but when I decided to return to receive two preventative vaccines I was charged almost $150 for a PREVENTATIVE 15 minute appointment slot that should have been completely covered by my insurance. I thought this was an honest mistake that they could easily correct so I called them multiple times and emailed the billing department asking them to please adjust the payment. No one from Wake Med has reached out to me to correct the payment or to at least explain the charge so communication with their billing department has been rather frustrating. I just keep getting reminders that my payment is due but no response or review of my claim. I will not be returning to Wake Med and would not recommend this place to anyone.
Taken aback, I just went through with the visit, another Huge Mistake! I would have given anything if I had cancelled right there on the spot. I saw Anjali Solanki, worst experience I have had with a doctor in my 53 years. I told her how upset I was and she completely blew me off regurgitating what the lady at the front desk had said. I told her I would not be returning to this office. At the end of the appointment I had to ask for my standing medications that I have
After the person checking me in made sure they had all of my insurance information and I was who I said I was, she began to ask me if I needed an office visit in addition to a well visit today. She explained that a well visit was only 30 minutes and I could not bring up anything new or ask about a new condition that it was strictly a well check up; however, if I need to discuss a symptom or new issue then they could charge me for an office visit and file both a well
visit and office visit with my insurance. When did it become inappropriate or additional charge to discuss with your primary care physician a medical issue or question?
Wife was taken here by ambulance. She was in a car accident, we have been here 4 hours and yet to be seen by a Dr. This is unbelievable! This is by far the worst experience we have had at any hospital. After waiting 4 hours we were put into an equipment room to wait. That's right, an equipment room with 4 chairs and no bed.
This was the worst ER room I ever been to. They totally don't care about you. Nurses are seating at their desks eating laughing doing nothing. I was there for 6 hours nurse came in once to check my blood pressure and it was when I just came in. Dr. Didn't even wanna hear what I had to say she didn't wanna answer my questions. But yet they still got paid for doing nothing. I am so mad if I new how they are I would of never went there.
First off, we recently moved and instead of spending over an hour on the road round trip to my primary care physician that I've had for around 20 years, I decided to switch doctors to save time and get back to work quicker. Huge Mistake!
I had no wait time at all, the receptionist was very nice, nurse Chris, was nice and respectful, and Dr. Magnum was great and treated me for what was needed on the spots the facility was ver clean. Overall exceptional experience.
Went to the Wake Primary Care at this facility because had already been to the ER and the Orthopedic offices and they were great; however, worst experience at a doctor's office in years with both the office and the doctor.
Giving a one star because as someone had put in a review I read on this place on Google, you have to give at least a star to be able to post the review.
been taking for years. She gave me a hard time about taking Ibuprofen for my arthritis and flatly refusing to refill one of my medicines. When I followed up with her later she stated that I needed a clinically diagnose even though I had one 30 years ago with lab results. She is the only doctor I have ever had to blatantly refuse to give me a standing prescription. I will not be returning to Wake Primary Care.
