Nice park near downtown Raleigh. Gave 4 stars because it is kind of creepy in certain parts. There is a state hospital on the grounds and the buildings are all circa 1960 or older.
Located on the grounds of the old ý shade. A great place for a picnic or a game of frisbee; a wonderful place for children.
One of my favorite places for a picnic date night. There are plenty of beautiful fields to choose from for anything from picnics and disc throwing to soccer and kite flying. Parking is plentiful and they host summer season outdoor movies.
