Well i could write a long long story about his park. No matter what happens it will always be my favorite park. Super clean well taken care of. This is my favorite spot to be when ever i am going through the hard times in life. Here is where my love story also stared . Every single walk every moment i will always keep in my heart. One of the photos is from 2011.

Such a beautiful gem of our city! I just found out about it and can't believe I didn't know of it sooner. My toddler and I had a great time at the indoor play area (pretend kitchen, farm and supermarket toys) before exploring the outdoor grounds. I had read to bring treats for the goats to feed them, so I brought a bunch of carrots with us (an employee also suggested apples). There were about 6 goats we could feed, and my son loved it. The goats are very friendly and enjoyed being petted. There's also a barn with an old tractor and life-size animal sculptures, chickens, and plenty of room to run around. I appreciated all of the informational plaques and exhibits in the main building — such cool history that has been preserved so well here. We ended our visit by walking on the trails behind the shaded parking area. The staff we met were exceptionally friendly and we were some of the very few visitors on a late weekday summer afternoon. I'm already planning our next visit here!

I love this park. Mostly, it's quiet, peaceful, serene. You can stroll around to clear your head. There are some neat little places to explore such as old buildings, a wooded trail to a small amphitheatre/bridge/pond, goats, and chickens. Rustic.

I've lived in Raleigh for 20 years and had no idea that such a cool place was so close by. Just a gorgeous area to visit!

I imagine weekends can be very busy, and watch for events such as weddings.

Dog-friendly.

This park is gorgeous! Great place to take pictures. I actually had my graduation photos done here. There are also chickens and goats. Depending on the time you get there you can take a tour of the different houses that are there. There are also pecan trees and you can start to pick them in November
