No restrooms at this end but a short (mile ish) walk will bring you to the Lake Lynn neighborhood center to the North. Also a great place to start a walk around the lake.
I really like to come here and get a brisk walk around the park while my daughter is at dance. This lot gets very crowded on the nice days/weekends but there is usually someone ready to go when the lot is full.
Lake Lynn has a beautiful walkway around the entire lake. I think its around a 2 mile walk with no steep inclines. Lots of ducks and geese, turtles, and I see people fishing.
I liked it. I don't think there are too many complaints you could have about a trail. I had a nice time walking and talking, hanging out with the person that was with me. There were some interestinglooking bird's out there. I wish I had bought my camera.
Crowded parking on the weekends and afternoons with nice weather. Great lake to walk or jog around.
I've been running this lake for years. A great scenic and challenging course. Recommend it to anyone.
Love this place!! Take my dog here alot for a good adventure. Don't forget to bring bread for the enormous TURTLES and ducks too. Peaceful awesome asset to Raleigh.
