I own 8 pets and have a pet sitting business, they just lost out on plenty of money. And the location is on my way home....it sucks for them but this is not customer service. I will continue my business with petsmart who has always taken care of me and my furbabies. I got a training lesson package for $300 from them and after 3 sessions we realized it wasn't a good fit for our dog, they gave a full refund...no questions askwd. Pet supermarket would rather drag on the pain of losing two birds rather than just give me $40 and keep my business. Shame on them.
As a frequent shopper... I have noticed the store is under new management with a completely new staff!! Needless to say the new manager has made great changes with the store... it looks totally amazing!! She is 100% helpful very courteously and the staff is very knowledgeable of all the products and are very eager to help you shop for your pets!! I wouldn't shop any where else when getting the supplies for your pets!! Great changes made to the store and they are amazing with customer service!! Keep up the great work guys!!
I'm done with this place, which is unfortunate for them. I bought 2 parakeets who died within 12 hours of each other 2 weeks after I brought them home. Because I made it to the store 2 days after the warranty they only wanted to give me store credit, which does me no good at a store I will no longer shop at. I also called corporate t9 get there help but they wanted the dead bodies of the tw9 poor birds. We didn't save them! Why would we? Wouldn't it cost more to "study" then or whatever they were going to do then just to give me my $40 back.
Animals in the store seemed both scared of humans and aggressive to people. The fish in the store seemed unhealthy looking. The fish appeared to have ammonia poisoning.
Most of the pets here seem to be quite skittish and are generally nice if you know how to handle them. I bought my budgie from here and he's very nice and loves my company!
Nice place to get pet stuff. Food, toys, bedding etc... Saturdays generally have some kind of adoption set up outside. My dog says to tell you if you take your dog in they will get a treat!
