This is a lovely little theater that shows movies a few weeks after most theaters for only $2-3. Because of this reduced price the size and quality of the theaters is slightly diminished but it is well worth the cost. A friend and I try to make a visit every week. I would highly recommend this place for a cheap flick.
If you're willing to wait a couple months to see your movie in a theater and pay 1/5 the price, this is the place for you and the other 4 people you are paying for. The popcorn is just as fresh here as anywhere else. The people working here are nice. This is the only place I go if I miss my movie during its opening run.
If you like old school movie theaters with the sloped floors, then watch movies here. The auditorium we sat in had at least half a dozen seats it of order and the seats are very narrow. The concession staff was very helpful and friendly, she even split a large popcorn into two bags so my kids didn't have to share one. For the discounted price, I would go back. There is nothing fancy here but we did enjoy the movie.
$3 a ticket? Yes please! Cheapest theater I’ve found in the area! It’s not the nicest, but who needs frills when you’re sitting in the dark? Highly recommend this theater if you don’t mind seeing your show a month or two later than everyone else.
You can't best going to the movies for less than $3! Yes, it won't have the latest movie or the best seating. But it's $2.25! I mean that is the biggest upside. If you're looking to watch the latest installment of Star wars or you want reclining seats that turn into beds, this won't be that movie theater. However, if you're on a budget and are looking to see a movie that is probably already out on DVD then this is the place for you. This is a phenomenal place if you have kids. I just add 2-3 months from the time a movie is coming out. Going to the theater is going to the theater. It doesn't really matter to them.
