Wonderful experience! Had such a great time watching Star Wars with my daughter at a place that was reasonably priced and made me feel like I was in a theater back in the day. I hope all the right people come to enjoy this little piece of heaven!

An absolute GEM! Ticket prices can’t be beat. Food is enjoyable. Check the menu out. It’s not gourmet food, but for the prices, way beyond the value you would get at a regular movie theatre. And beer! Who doesn’t want to enjoy a pitcher of beer and some fried foods while watching a movie!?! The staff! They are awesome, attentive, and actually understand how to provide customer service. We had a great time seeing Star Wars. It was out first time at Raleighwood and we decided that is our spot from now on.

The food is great, it's not a steakhouse, but it's also not fast food. It's affordable American food, and executed perfectly for the price.

Raleighwood is a great experience and a great value! You're right at the perfect distance from the screen -- and you can eat and drink while you're there! The food is good -- not great, but reasonable considering that all of the dishes are made at exactly the same time -- and there's enough light to see, but not so much that it's distracting. I've never felt "robbed"; I get exactly what I expected.

This place deserves an average of 5-stars. I was able to go for the first time yesterday evening and saw Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The website is simple, but pretty forward in what you need to know. The signage out front reflect that forward simplicity where you know what you're looking for and what is playing. I was truly surprised to see someone older than a teenage or college student at the box office as I have become so use to that at national-chain movie venues. The woman was nice, professional, and even seemed to have a genuine smile on her face. I understood every word she said and nothing was mumbled or said without care. Once inside, there is a small meeting area if you need to wait for anyone else from your party to arrive and there are also chairs and tables so you are not forced to stand. The theater space itself is very nice. Rather than settling for typical sound proofing, their decision was to have NC staple places on the sides of the theater. All chairs are nice, laid-back office chairs and they connect you to either a table or curb-side areas. I'll admit, the chairs were comical to move around when I first arrived, but that was my fault. The best part is is that as the chairs move, anyone who has a physical handicap and would need one moved for a wheel chair or special seating would find it easy to do. Our waitress (I have sadly forgotten her name... short hair, average height, served most of the area below the raised portion of the house), was kind, to-the-point, and efficient. Everyone who brought out food was courteous and stooped to take into account anyone watching the film behind them. And here's something that blew my mind: NO ADS. None. Nothing promoting anything before the trailers for upcoming films. Can you believe that? They had on the 75th Anniversary show of the Radio City Rockettes playing. And then they started the trailers before the show time so that the movie started at the time it was supposed to! Wow! I forgot movie theaters ever did things like that! The sound and video quality were just right as well. They have dim lights on during the movie for folks to see what they're eating and perhaps order other items as they choose. Any time I could not see what I needed to see I just waited for the film to turn back to daylight and I could make out what I needed to. I can't believe people have complained about this. Seriously. I was there for the movie above the food. I'm glad I saw the movie far better than I saw my food. No one had their phones out from what I could see. There is also *very* clear signage at the box office that prohibits this. Welcome to public viewings. This is no different from any other place. The food was okay, but far better selection than what you could find at a regular theater. Also, it seems to me that they're actually serving up real food. Not stuff from a packet. And when you think that the stuff from a packet at a national chain is about the same price as what they charge for *real food* here this is a better bargain. It's important to note that movie theaters make their money off of food sales. When taking into the consideration that the house size is small, each guest receives individual attention from wait staff and servers, personal space, comfy chairs, cool atmosphere, NO ADS, and cleanliness, the food is well worth the cost. So please, if you've read this far, take into consideration that prices are never black and white and that coupons and discounts come out of small businesses back pockets when they are still offering you full-price service. All in all, this place is great. I will be back again.

Y'all need to stop whining. It's a movie theatre that serves food. OBVIOUSLY it's going to be DARK. Also- you're watching a movie, the waiter isn't going to want to interrupt you several times to make sure you're ok.

I go here all the time and have never had a bad experience. Get off your high horses people.
