Mission Valley is a good theater if you're not trying to break the bank to watch a new release movie. I've never been on an opening night but every other time I've gone even on weekends it hasn't been crowded. Their concessions are also reasonably priced and they have a good selection of beers on tap. Definitely my first choice when going to the movies!
Great movie theatre and great prices. The only bad part about my visit was that we had to go and get someone to start the movie for us so it started 20 mins after the scheduled showing time. Theatre itself was very clean and my friend and I had it to ourselves. I would definitely go here again
I have been going to this theater for years and have enjoyed the staff and the BEST popcorn in Raleigh. The cost of the concessions is no worse than any other theater and again, their popcorn is cheaper, fresh and better. The theater is not shabby......it is an older theater with BIG screens, something you don't get in the modern theaters any more. Being born in Raleigh, I like how they have honored the older Raleigh theaters by naming each of their rooms by those names. Not all of the rooms have cup holders, but some do.......get over it. This place is always my first choice AND .......the SOUND is Big and Broad.
Good beers but no cup holders... also very expensive concessions, though they do have discount ticket for students. Lights inside the rooms are never on so you don't realize how dirty they are
Good cinema. Have been there a few times. Economical 4 students.
