Love this park! We were there for a birthday party this weekend. Had a gorgeous view of the foliage. My 5- and 7-year old had plenty to do...climb on small rocks, climbing the rock wall, swings, playground, plenty of room to run around! There's an adjacent dog park.
Great new park in the area that our kids love. Plenty to with a splash pad, swings, picnic area and rock climbing. Small walk track around the area and up front to the dog park.
I served with Jack on the Cary Town Council from 1996 until 2000. He is a super guy and this park is a nice tribute to him and to his service. The park is the perfect getaway spot for a picnic or for taking your little ones during Mom's Time Out.
Wonderful playground with splash pad and climbing wall. Separate play areas for little and older kids. Pleasant surroundings. Trails for walking. Has clean restrooms and ample parking. A little far for those in Cary, but well worth the drive. One advantage of being far is it is not very crowded, at least whenever we have visited.
Nice park, but only one of its type in the area. We visited on Labor Day. The weather was great but water splash was turned off. We were looking forward to a final splash for the season. Oh well..
