Well worth it. I wish I had more photos to show. My husband, son and I went for an afternoon and had a ball. There’s the train ride, boat races and a lot of other activities. The playground is big enough to get lost in. They have food there and host birthday parties.
Always a great time at Pullen Park! Fall hours in effect but enjoyed wondering through the clean park with the ducks. I've been coming here for more than 40 years. I really enjoyed the boat, carousel and train ride as a toddler...my daughters did too! The Christmas train is great if you can get tickets... otherwise, you can come out and see the lights. One of the few places I can still find a locopop too! Great place to bring the kids!
My 1st time visiting. I went to a 5 yr olds birthday party. The building grounds were very clean and spacious. There was a lot of people to help you find your way around. Plenty to occupy the children and I enjoy the train ride
The absolute best park to take your kids to. Take mine all the time. Just eat before you go as the food here is expensive and pretentious but the rides and things for the kids to do are great. Reasonably priced merry go round, large scale train rides, miniature boat rides, and all the jungle gyms and swings and normal park activities are free. They fix the food situation and it'll be five stars. Love it
This park is beautiful and will definitely be a place we return to again and again. Our 7 year old is a train freak so we went for the train, it was just right. He gets scared when we visit full size trains because of the loud whistle but this train has a higher pitched softer toot. The park is very clean and affordable for larger families like ours. It's a great place to carry in a picnic, or you can purchase good quality food for about the same cost as a trip to a fast food place. I ordered a taco salad and they were happy to prepare it dairy free for me. The carousel is air conditioned and also not too loud for sensitive kids. We will be returning often.
